Hi I have a 1980 4wd truck currently and just came across a complete trekker conversion for sale locally. My question is, what's it worth? The fiberglass is in decent shape and it's all there minus the rear glass. I'm Not 100% sure I want to cut into my truck as it's an offroad truck and eventually I'd destroy the fiberglass on a branch or in a roll over. I would like to save the history for someone who could use it though but I don't want to sit on it forever. Wasn't there about 1,500 of these made?
What is the educated opinion of the members here about the value?
Thanks

hey , welcome aboard . dont really know the answer to your question , as it really varies as to where you are located . I have a seen the range from 200.00 - 2500.00 I can tell you the original fiberglass is not that great of "quality" .. I can also tell you we are going to reproduce it . not that I expect to sell many !! I just want to and I own the company , so I can !

Thanks for your response. I'm Not a die hard trekker fan by any means. On the other hand I would hate to see it go to waste if he doesn't sell it because it is cool toyota history. My truck isn't a good candidate for the conversion. I would destroy it somehow because it's a trail rig. Maybe I would be better off referring him to this site to sell it.
