Hi Cory, i said i would post up some pics of this thing i have growing in my basement. Firstly though i have not given up on my other projects, the FJ40 is a work in progress, back as a rolling chassis from being down to the bare frame. The BJ60 is on hold, but only till i can get my shop finished. The car i started cause it fit in the basement of my house. Anyways here are some pics, sorry they took me so long.

My son and i brought it in and put it up on stands, i won't say it wasn't hard but we managed just fine. They say the finished weight of the car is 2350 LBS so pretty light.

The kit normally uses KONIs but i went with adjustable QA1s. Steering rack is Mustang unit. The aluminum panels are pre cut and bent but you have to drill and pop rivet them in place.

Motor is an aluminum Robert Pond Racing block of 482CI with ported aluminum Edelbrock FE heads. 621 HP & 604 FTLBS kit was made to take the Tremec TKO 5 spd with a cable clutch but i am going to put in a Tremec 6spd with an internal slave. Motor in. Came with cable throttle as well, it had to go. I made up mechanical linkage for a more correct look.

Other tires are 17"Nitto's, I don't really like the 17s but they are road legal for getting through inspection.I like the 15s a lot more and they are more correct. With the Nitto's i have spinners to kep em on.

Motor back out, i have to do some work on drivers side engine mount. Block is a "Side Oiler" so the Dr side mount is different that a normal FE so i have to modify the chassis a bit.
