All of the dents in the sheet metal where taken out. Nothing major, twenty-eight years of door dings and hail damage. The front valance was replaced too. All of outer figerglass on the bed section was repaired. All of the cracks, big ones and littles ones are gone. I'm very pleased ;D. Looks smooth. The topper section wasn't touched. It should be getting line-x'd this week I hope. There will be more photos following that... and the sticker package that is in the works.

Thanks. I should have it back from line-x in a week. I'll take plenty of outside photos then. I don't know what kind of wiper arms I have. I did think they looked a little bigger than the ones I had on my '81.

1982-and 1983 had the plastic covers on the wiper arms instead of the acorn nut here in the USA. The 79-81 wiper arms were the years for the acorn nut style. wow .. it's funny/amazing the differances between the USA and Canada trucks .. .

Got back to work on repairing the hatch today. I scraped off the old weather stripping and removed the final bits of glass. Then I sanded and gave it a quick spray over the black.

The line-x looks pretty good. The color-"match" isn't as close as I was hoping it would be, but I think it will work. I'll take photos once I get it all back together- I promise.
I applied the new weather stripping on the hatch frame today and then had to quit to move the wife's car back in the garage because of the snow.
I'm getting close to putting the hatch back on the truck. I just need to put the new glass in place, seal it all up and install the new hardware. Hopefully everything lines up right without too much trouble and hopefully I don't drop it and break it like line-x did. That would be really, really bad.
