Corey: Just curious (I haven't looked yet) does the 'Roll bar' mount to anything substantial like a body mount or anything? Just wondering if it might actually function....I plan on doing an All-Pro or Marlin Cage and running some stuff to the back and curious if using the existing hoop would even be worth it...Oh and thanks for posting the length of the hatch struts on YT..
BTW nice job on the zinc...

OK my friend: what secret source did you come up with for a rear hatch seal?
maybe when you make your kit molds you can come up with a way to make the rear lip a little closer to the floor of the bed...just a thought as I am sure Winnebago did it for strength reason..
got a shipping date to Texas yet?

That would be awesome about the rear seal... One more thing, about the cab seal? guess you came up with some stuff for that too? Is this one set up to be a removeable top or hard mount? Thanks again, Robb

yep , I do have that figured as well ... this is a hard seal for NON removable top .. Michael will not be removing the roof . BUT , new seal , same company .. I will have that as well Company is "Simple Seal Inc. " they build all the seals for the camper manufactures , and use to build them for Westernstar trucks as well , untill it closed down .. there baced in Kelowna , They dont do individual sales , only "production" sales .. I was able to "wiggle" my way in mine will be removable .. I'll be starting that one , soon .. well frames up .

cool, i did not see the piece when you first posted that picture...I am gonna have to order some from you sooner than later. We had about 5 inches of rain yesterday with our little tropical deppression or whatever they are calling it that it Portland...I just moved the trekker and heard an awful lot of sloshing...there was only 2.5" of water in the back...Yippee...anyway am pulling out the back seat and probably the rest of the carpet. Wasn't gonna drill holes but it sure drains faster that way. I am hoping I have enough Herculiner to finish the rest of the floor....

ok .. so , started on the rear shield .. got out my TEMPLATE and fit it into place .. I'm still waiting for the tinted lexan . also got the new ORIGINAL lock assembly in today bolted up the hinges , and BRAND NEW buttons and lock .. also mounted the "Ketch" assembly .. and an interior view .. The list is shrinking rapidly .. ALMOST done .. 4 more idems to attend to , and then crate and ship ..

so just a few little things to finish up .. Rear "template" removed , focus on the frame . 4 more on the " TO DO" list !! I got one more scrached off today on the original frame .. there is a felt between the frame and glass .. I suspect it's to silence any rattles or scratching on the rear shield . The old stuff was brittle , crusty , and old .. so I replaced it . a clean frame The new felt and installed it's a real close up .. so dont mind the edges .. you'll never see them .. .
