Man where have i been, havent been on in a while and just saw the new (to me) Wolverine section, saw your thread and got all giddy. Saw the pics and was confused for a second, i've seen quite a few of those trucks before even remember seeing the pics here that Robb posted, never thought they were Wolverines, glad Paul was able to clear it up, you are a good source of information Paul. ...I worked at a dealership when they were sold NEW (limited #'s) .. just never had proof , only MY "here say" .. It's been a long time comming to proove my point .. or should I say proof of existance .. he dosnt know what he has yet .. but I'm trying to edgemicate him .. For some funny reason i feel the "hear say & prove my point" are directed at me, ;D is this what you remember selling from your dealer that you were thinking was the Wolverine? Was it called a Wolverine in Canada maybe?? If not, keep hunting Corey, i really do believe you that they are or were out there, they are just so dang hard to find, would love to see some pics of a real one, i dont even know what it is supposed to look like for real!

ohh heck no .. it's all MY "here say" , and I'm trying to prove MY point .. seems I'm the only guy around whom has ever seen one .. and I cant proove it . i'n the back of my mind , I knew this one was not the one .. I didn't remember the wolverine "looking" like that .. from my recollection the wolverine was basically a trailblazer , but with no interior .. it had the original metal box , and pass threw with a fiberglass canopy .. thats about all I remember . i'm pretty sure , like most toys , the boxes have all rotted , and we,re scrapped ... so we'll never find one .

I guess you all will shiver when you see the other pic of Bigblue it is turning out to be a real one of a kind. I hope I didn't dive into something that should of been restored instead of building it into a very capable trail rig. Full size axles D44 front and D60 rear Thanks slacker the more info the better. O them pic's of the rear and interior work or do you need different ones?

b4runner I have seen that pic of the blue one before and that was in the same town mine came from. It make me wonder if that is mine before anything was done to it.

. not sure if there was a rear seat , I dont think so .. I have been "chatting" with the owner to find out some more info. I owned one and it had 2 shortback single seats back there. Still does actually my uncle still owns it. Oh yeah and the AC still works Edit: Mine was a 1980 Yellow with decals, fender flares, etc.

I would love to see some pictures of it. I know everyone else would too. Looked almost the same (color, etc) as this one, but not as perfect condition and mine had round headlights with the 20R engine and a 4 speed. It even passed California's stringent smog requirements when I lived there! Sorry I don't know where any pics of it are right now. My Uncle still has it and the AC still works too!
