This is my first ever toyota build, but not my first build. I usually build Chevys or VW's as my user name suggest ill be building my bus soon also. This will be one of my most favorite builds though.
If you havnt seen my other post in new section here's the breakdown of when my Trekkor experience began I've owned my Trekker for about 6yrs now, when I purchased it I knew something was rare about it. It took me about a wk or two to find out what it was. I drove it for about 2yrs and then parked it for about 2yrs. Then I decided to put it on the rd again just to find out the front end bounced around extremely bad above 40mph, I spent a while rebuilding things on the front end and no luck. I ended up giving up and within the last two wks I decided again to give it another try, so now I'm gonna rebuild the entire front axle. While waiting on the parts I decideded to take an old bumper and cut/weld and build me a custom bumper/winch setup. When I get my taxes back I'm go,nna order a 7" maybie 5" lift and some 35's or 38's. I'm still unsure, here's a few pics. I'm going back with the original tan as soon as I get time to paint it.
I still have a lot of work left to do to the bumper ill post pics of the progress, thanks for the trekkor forum.
