has anyone put on a billet gas cover over the stock indent in the fiberglass bed? just thought it would clean it up alittle.... just not sure if anyone has doen this?

If you could find one to fit ... I think it would look great . might be to tight by the flare though .. geezz with the price of fuel these days .. maybe a locking one

Like Slacker mentioned, the area around the flare would be tough. Allowing for 1/2" around the whole thing for mounting, it would need to be 6.5" in diameter. The lower part around the flare would be the biggest issue IMO and it does seem to me that the bed does have a slight curve to it..

The trucks of the same year had a cover, so the Trekker does look like it's missing something.
