Very small things, chipping out the rubber crap on the floor, drained the tranny, took bad 1/4 panel off, sanding rust off. Going over engine bay wireing, installing a diffent electric fan from the junkyard. Really not a lot as i just dont have the cash at the moment to do anything I want. Man i want to take it for ride.

So drove my truck for the first time in like 5-6 years or so? ? Wow so much fun, i ripped out the turbo 400 and np205 re did all the gaskets and seals cause it leakes so bad. Put it all back in leaked like a siv, found that tranny case is got a huge crack in it. This was like 4-6 motnhs ago. So i just lost total enthusiasm for a while. But this weekend put some 1 minute expoxy on the crack and sealed it all up. Too bad this is only a temp fix, BUT i can drive it in and out of the garage not with out having to dump 2-3 litres of tranny fluid in just to get it to move. I have very little extra money for my truck so its going VERY slowly. I think my main thing is to get the topper all patched up so i can fix the leaks in the truck. Unfortunletly the topper is pretty cracked and i cant affort a nice new one from Slacker nor do i have the funds to rhino line it. I am hoping to be able to reinforce it with some aluminum or something and fiber it in where the hatch bolts up. It is so thin there, i am not suprised it cracks on all the trekkers i have seen. Also i cut the wood ribs out of the roof and it was just a whole wack of like 2x4 x 1 in cut offs stuffed in there, could believe it. I need to figurre out something solid to put in there and fibre it in. No why why my topper sagged so bad, the wood was rotted and quite useless put in there like that. Can i fibreglass in my garage with a furance going? Is it a fire risk? Ill post some pics here from the weekend.

good to see ya back on it .. and no problem with glassing with the furnace on , just be sure to where YOUR safty gear , and just dont mix it to hot . If you have a look and " the long box build" you can see where I cut out the original basa crap , and built some spruce ribs .. this is what I would recommend .. Fir is absolutly best , but not easy to come by in a 2X4 config.

Yhea that would be easy enough to fix with some solid spruce or fir. Awsome.
