Tom has always wanted a first gen Toyota 4X4 Truck since he was a kid . Not being able to afford one back then , and soon with "life" involved , he never did get one , untill now . he always liked the truck his neighbour had , and finally he was able to purchace it . Tom did lots of reasurch , and decided to bring his build to us .. this build is somewhat of a "stock" build , daily driver type .. that he wants to last for a loooong time . so with a "budget" established .. we are going to make Toms dream come true . here is where we are starting

before we paint the cab , time for "mock up " Tom brought us seats from an acura .. nice seats , but they wont bolt in . So we made them "boltable" you can see the original seat tracks and the Acura seat tracks cut off the original tracks off the seats and tossed them away new mount plates and ORIGINAL first gen tracks mounted now fit awesome in the original holes

originally when Tom and I talked about the truck , we were going to either rebuild or do an engine "swap" .. The swap and rebuild was axed , as really the engine is running great , and fit Toms needs most excellently . The rebuild was deleted from the Budget . so , although it is not in the budget , there is just no way I can not at least clean it up some what . so all cleaned and detailed , we got it in place today ... going to add some powder coated pieces .. and hope this will make Toms experiance with us a happy one ...
