so we had a little issue with this engine , and needed to diagnose and repair . this has been completed now . Erik has decided he wanted us to do the door skins as well , before paint off with the original skin !! looks like we got to it just in time ! (both doors were about the same condition) cleaned up the inside and laid down some POR15 .. POR should be ready for me to proceed tomorrow AM ... and so I got the skin all prepped and ready to EPOXY tomorrow as well

That looks fantastic , when you use the compass to make your body line what and how do you cut it to make it a perfect straight cut?

I use a diamond blade ... you can buy them for a 4.5" grinder at any autoparts store .. BUT !!!! they are very fast and will take material off very fast , so go slow .

Probably get more life out of a diamond blade versus a regular zip cut. I used to cut interesting notches in 1/8" stainless 2x4 years ago using a zip cut. It takes a steady hand and a "feel" for the tool working on the material.
