So the canopy was never intended to be removable?
I recently purchased an 82 Trekker and the top has been removed before. There's no weather stripping left on the cab
Anyone put theirs on and off frequently? I would like the option of being able to do that during the summer

not really .. but with all the leaking problems the originals had , it really should have been engineered better , but that was back in the 80's . I was going to make mine removable , but with the interior I chose , and the frequency of which I though I would be removing it , I chose not to .
that said , I was going to use a "nutcert" or "time-cert" (google them) to make my top removable , I also looked into some rubber weatherstrip , which we will most likely use on our NEW moulds we are making ..

I'm familiar with nutcerts, that's a good idea
What weather stripping were you looking at? I guess the normal canopy seal (that you sell) wouldn't suffice...
