Hi everyone!
Been watching for a Trekker for a while now after after one popped up for sale locally by me. Well this week I was able to purchase an '81 Trekker. She was purchased completely stripped down but with all parts labeled and accounted for. The engine fired up with a little starter fluid love (not bad for sitting for 3 month) and continued to run well allowing me to drive it for a bit before trailering and the tow to the garage. I will have pics up in a day or so here, and when I begin my build I will keep a detailed build log in that section.

Thank You Slacker!
Todays Update, I moved and sorted though all parts that were included with the buy into the garage. I don't have garage space yet for the Trekker so I had to wrap her up in anticipation for a snow storm tonight.

his Is a quick pic I snapped a couple days ago during the first oil change I gave her. Since this time I have installed most of the front end back together and am currently working on electrical. I have removed the shell top and will be setting up an area to do my fiberglass repair work. I was able to drive her quite a bit today and after a bit of carb work and timing adjustment she started to run pretty decent. Unfortunately I found out that the transmission that is currently in has no 5th gear, and the driveline took a serious bash at one time and is very unbalanced. But on the bright side of things a good friend has a brand new rebuilt trans, transfer case and drivelines out of an 86 pickup that I will be able to use. Now that the Trekker is finally at my home, licensed, and insured, and I will be able to devote more of my time her way. With that I will be starting a new thread in the build section of this forum, detailing the restoration and upgrade of my '81 Trekker.
