Hello, I purchased a Trekker 4x4, 5speed, tan with tan and brown interior in 1982 brand new at a Toyota dealership in Hollywood Florida. I kept it for 14 years 150 thousand miles. It still had the original clutch and only changed the front brake pads just because I thought it was time. Needless to say it was a great truck. Probably would still have it but a bolt fell out of the oil splash guard at the top of the vavle cover and got caught between the cam and the head. It punch a hole to the water jacket. Replaced the head and it was never the same. So ended up selling it, a move I regret. I now live in southern California and my two means of transport are a1968 Mini Cooper and a H D street glide. That was working out OK till this winter and the El Nino. So here I am looking for a better foul weather vehicle. It is great to see that there are enthusiasts for one of my all time favorite trucks. Thanks, Jeff
