Hi Cory, i said i would post up some pics of this thing i have growing in my basement. Firstly though i have not given up on my other projects, the FJ40 is a work in progress, back as a rolling chassis from being down to the bare frame. The BJ60 is on hold, but only till i can get my shop finished. The car i started cause it fit in the basement of my house. Anyways here are some pics, sorry they took me so long.
Motor is an aluminum Robert Pond Racing block of 482CI with ported aluminum Edelbrock FE heads. 621 HP & 604 FTLBSkit was made to take the Tremec TKO 5 spd with a cable clutch but i am going to put in a Tremec 6spd with an internal slave. Motor in.Came with cable throttle as well, it had to go. I made up mechanical linkage for a more correct look.
Can on the firewall is an oil "Puke Can" next to the heater. The brace is for the dash, and the blue knob will be for front/rear brake bias adjustment. MSD box is ...well an MSD ignition box.Wheels are Halibrand PinDrive copies in as cast with gold centers. With these i will be running with gold nuts to keep them on. Tires are as you can guess Goodyear Billboards.
Other tires are 17"Nitto's, I don't really like the 17s but they are road legal for getting through inspection.I like the 15s a lot more and they are more correct. With the Nitto's i have spinners to kep em on.
