Started building a little adventure rig, it's a 81 trekker that I picked up from my buddy. I've been rock crawling toyota's for the past ten years but my 84 long bed rig is no longer "road worthy" I'm trying to build something that I can drive to the trail and sight see with but at the same time if I get in the thick of things I know I can rely on the rig. I've pretty much picked up all the parts I need to start the build, some people would say I'm doing overkill for 33's and not rock crawling but I want a tough truck.
Ty for the warm welcome, I have a new set of 33" m/t's and wheels, 4" front Trail gear kit, dual cases, rear will be sprung under with deaver springs, gears/lockers,bumpers sliders, basically a fire road masher. I'll start a lightweight build thread on the truck in the next week or so. I mostly am gonna have questions on the rear fiberglass parts and some other one off trekker info.
