sorry if this has been asked before, but did a search and nothing can up. so just curious what were the difference option packages consist of for the trekker? thanks there was a base version and an SR5 version. the only outside visual difference i think was the sr5 had sliding rear windows and the base one did not. maybe stripes and wheels were different as well. on the inside the sr5 got more gauges, (tach and oil pressure) better radio (cassette? ) there was no drive train difference between the two though. (from what i have read) here are the original brochure pics that robb dug up from somewhere they explain the differences...

Mine has an auxillary gas tank mounted above the spare tire also. Only drawback is that it takes forever to fill it up because the angle from the gas cap to the spare is slight, making the pump kick off like it full. Neat feature though.

Neat feature though. that would have been added from a previous owner .. most likely a www.nwmp.com/fueltanks.asp I had one on the old " white knight" it was an awesome addition .. the later units had a fill tube with a gravity feed into the original tank .. so at the gas station , you actually used 2 different knozzles . the gravity feed kept the tanks equal , so your fuel guage also was correct , just measuring both tanks at the same time . .
