I have the original Toyota radio in my Trekker. It is dead though. Does anyone know if there are places that would be able to repair old car stereos? I realize this may be a little unrealistic, but it would be neat to to have a working original. I wouldn't have to cut the dash either.

I used to work for a guy who repaired antique car radios and 70's to 80's ford car radios. I can check and see if he is still doing this. Can you past some info on the radio as my trekker does not have one.

not sure if this would help but I saw this post awhile ago on Yotatech, kind of a cool radio that could fit in the stock location, but updated... Found this link for it: www.retrosoundusa.com/ seems to have some pretty cool features in it...
