Very cool...Welcome to the forum. Your floor rust looks pretty much like mine did. Looks like your hubby is in the Military. Are you guys stationed at Scofield with the 25th ID or at Kaneohe Bay w/ the Marines? Thinking Marines. Just curious, spent some time there training at both locations, food at K-bay was a lot better than Scofield ;D Please tell him thanks for serving. I also look forward to your progress and if you have any questions feel free to fire away...

Looks like you guys are jumping in and getting right to it. Betcha had fun with the 200 screws they used to hold the top down ;D Have a Merry Christmas were in the army.. not the marines.. sorry!! Army is better, Nice to see you got rid of the 'Retired Marine' sticker. I had just trained with the Marines. I was stationed at Ft. Richardson, Alaska the 10th Mt Division at Ft. Drum, NY. We went to Hawaii a couple of times for training, it was nice to get a 'Paid' vacation to the islands in the middle of winter.

SORRY WE HAVENT REPLIED IN A WHILE BEEN BUSY ON THIS DEPLOYMENT. BUT ANYWAYS. WERE THINKING BOUT GETTING THE TREKKER PUT INTO THE SHOP WHILE WERE OUT HERE SO THAT WHEN WE COME BACK ITS READY TO GO. WERE GONNA PRINT OUT SLACKERS PROJECT AND HAVE THE SHOP PRETTY MUCH MIRROR HIS MODS. LIKE THE BACK SEATS AND THE ROLL CAGE AND STUFF. NOT FULLY MIRROR HIS PROJECT THOUGH. THE ONLY THING THAT KINDA BUMMS US OUT IS THAT WE CANT BE THERE TO SEE THE PROGRESS IN PERSON. WE WILL BE ORDERING THE FIBERGLASS FENDERS AND THE BUTTONS AND OTHER THINGS OFF OF TOYOTA FIBERGLASS. OH I SAW ON ANOTHER WEBSITE THAT THEY OFFERED THE CUSTOM BED FOR THE 84-88 MODELS JUST LIKE ON TOYOTA FIBERGLASS. BUT THE WEBSITE WAS B AND G FIBRGLASS. I WAS WONDERING IF THEYRE THE SAME COMPANY

Thanks for the updates; I really enjoy seeing these trucks given the respect they deserve. Looks like you are getting started in the right direction and will be doing a quality build and not just patching things up. I too would like to thank you for your family's service, I live in the Norfolk, VA area and we love our military !!!!
