Yes. I bought the truck. I'll post some pictures in the next day or two.
The previous owner was Rob.
I think it needs a fuel pump. It ran when we poured gas down the Weber but only for a few feet.
I'll get that installed and pull it off the trailer.
The LX470 makes a great tow vehicle.

Dan, I hope you'll love it as much as I would have. I had talked to rob on Thursday night and he mentioned someone from Calgary was coming to look at it on the weekend. I didn't make an immediate offer cause I needed to be sure that I could arrange transport and permission( from my wife) to park 2 trekkers in the backyard. I must have waited just a little to long to call back with the offer . Oh well, at least a fellow trekker fan is the new owner! Keep trying to post some picks, so I can see what i missed out

Well it's going to be for sale. I have it here and it's more suited for a driver/wheeler than what I had hoped to make it.
I trailered it home and I have finally got it running. Needed a few things here and there to get it running. A few trips to the parts store and she runs.
It was nice driving one again. Brings back memories for sure.
I'll clean it up and get it in shape for sale again.
I wanted one that was in slightly better shape. I will pay extra for one that is ultra-clean and has A/C so hopefully this one can go to a new home.
At least it isn't so far north now and that someone can come and take it for a test drive if they wanted/needed to.
I'll post the VIN in a bit along with a link to some pictures.

I took a look at the pictures. From the pictures, it looks to have some potential. Under the hood looks like the same guy did the wiring at my Trekker I don't think it will be in your hands too long. Good luck finding the trekker of your dreams...

looks like a nice starting point ... and I might even be interested in taking it in on trade .. I just might be building the "trekker of your dreams" 5VZfe supercharged ... check out my build .

Close to the dream Trekker. Mine would be stock height with 31's. A/C. A turbo instead of a supercharger. I was toying with the idea of putting the engine out of the Red Celica into a Trekker. In my other albums you can see what other Toys I had/have. s246.photobucket.com/albums/gg95/DanDanLongDan/I have other albums in that link. The blue 81 Celica is one I'm keeping. Only 103,000km. The Red Celica I bought just for the engine. The car ran 12.9@111. It would be real nice in a Trekker. What type of things would you be interested in as 'trade' I'm open to suggestions.

sorry .. I would only take it in on trade on "purchace" of my trekker ... or parts I build .
or ..
I could always build that one the way YOU want ! ...
