yep I do .. started it in my Garage as a hobby , 12- 13 years ago now ..
I have a hood now .. lost the underside in a fire though , and just never got to build it again ..
hood sales are always DISMAL (I can do it myself they say) .. freight is a pregnant dog .. because of the size , it MUST be shipped truck .. expencive as a 1 piece order from Canada .. not so bad with a crate load of stuff. NEEDLESS to say , most people THINK , because the truck is old , they want a USED price on the new parts .. I gots no time for that crap .
so needless to say , I have NOT rebuilt the hood lower piece .

thats awesome. I know what good quality stuff cost and do not mind paying. i wish i could do fiberglass. I am working on some custom interior lexan panels for my 4runner. I will be ordering the half doors sometime over the winter.
you get that complete fiber body down and I'll be the first to buy one!!!

Lol yeah... I know the feeling... I am just happy to see trekkers being a possibility again. they have been totally ignored and are an unknown.. would love to build one from the ground up. Always thought that would be the most fun way to build a truck. weld your own frame, buy a body. custom axles, and suspension. built 4.3 with sm465 manual and a dual transfer case setup. my body work is on indefinite hold now.. especially with being able to a fiberglass 4runner back half on.. that would rock.. would be worth more then a bed.. I could drive it in the winter :-)

Hi Folks, my name is Robb, live somewhere by Portland, OR. So I posted on here, the 'B4Runner' build. I saw a Trekker back in Snowbird, Utah when I was 15 or so parked next to an '84 4Runner and thought I really want one of those someday. Well 25 years later I bought an '81 Trekker that I found on craigslist. It is my 6th Toyota over the last 20 years.. I have had an "86 4Runner, 84 Xtra cab, 97 Tacoma, Currently have '05 Tacoma, '05 Camry and my favorite is of course the '81 Trekker...
