so a wee bit more progress on the POR treatment .. and I have started to "BLOW" apart the suspension .. so I could get the frame done .. when FINALLY .. look what shows up .. my new fuel tank .. it's a bolt in .. and will accept the 84-89 fuel pump bracket .. (mine needs a new pressure tube ) but it's all bolt in .. I'm soon going to be offering these in my "on line store" (comming soon ) .. .

dont know if you can see in the previous pic or not .. but the pressure line on the sender is gone .. and the other pipe is rusted .. so I had to fix . I drilled out the old pipes , and started to manufacture my own . The /84 holder didnt fit as "perfect" as I wanted .. so I bent the fuel pump holder , and fit .. bend and fit .. now it fits exactly where I want .. and to go with it .. new pipes . bent up the PRESSURE pipe .. and the return line saudered , zinc'd and installed .. .

Nice work so far, you are going to have one stellar Trekker!
What truck is that tank originally from, I need to order one for my Trekker (or go pull one from a junk yard), do you know for sure that it will fit under the body? If you remember when i put my stock tank back in with the EFI sender cap, the tubes were too tall and we had to bend them down a little to make them clear the body, however we did implant the tubes ourselve and there could have been some error on the angle we set them causing them to hit.
How much are you going to sell them for? If you have them ready to order real soon and the price isn't rediculous I have no problem supporting your company over the dealer/junkyard.

price is a "little" exorbanant ... but I still think it's worth it .. mine listed at $275.00 .. considering , I wont have to do any mods , or custom installation .. I think it's well worth it .. sender has to be modified a bit because of the baffels , and the float guage needs to be bent as well , because of the baffels .. but thats it .. easy paesy .
this one is a custom made tank for EFI application into a 79-83 SHORT box ... and will work for your fuel injection swaps ..
I have stock tanks (carb) , avaliable at much less for all Toys .. starting at $99.00 .

oh .. and sorry .. on the Trekker , the fuel tank has "drop brackets" .. so it will not interfere with the body .
