the entire metal section of the floor is cut away now. the body is off the frame and i'm just trying to get the fiberglass part off the cab. i plan on restoring it enough to drive and mainly use it for trails...its not in any kind of shape to be worth restoring...which is why i'm looking for another one

yeah .. tons of work to get the back 1/2 off .. there is at least 100 fasteners in there .. and if there not all rusted up , they will just spin in the hole .
do you still have the original "winnabego" sticker ?

the back half is still connected, all of the screws and rusted so badly that there is no way to get a screwdriver on it. i've started just stripping the caulk out of the way and using a sawzall to cut the scews. just got a new set of toyota rears for the front, and a set of ford 51" springs for the rear. haven't had much time recently, its the second round of tests here this semester. girlfriend got me a present, check it out in the trekker talk, I'm scanning it right now.

cool ... mine is missing the sticker you'll want to get the calk out .... I tried to sazall at first , but the calk kept "sticking" the blade .. and I was doing more damage then good .. I used a drill , to get the nasty ones , and a prybar for the ones that just spun ..

finally got a new camera. the body is off the frame right now. the rust is even worse than I thought it would be. thats what I get for getting a truck from the coast... finally removed all the screws and bolts holding the front metal part to the rear fiberglass. one side is off but the other side is still stuck together with the caulking. that stuff is sticky....hats off to winnebago. removed the front and rear springs from the frame, need to go buy metal to make new mounts for the longer springs I have lined up. its dark now so more pics tomorrow.

lol, I'm not restoring it, I just don't like rust. I will take a more detailed picture of the sticker but I'm keeping that on the truck. In the shape the truck is in now, any kind of bump or slight hit would destroy it. I'm working on the suspension right now and once again its dark so maybe pics tomorrow.

Looks like the back half is in pretty good shape considering how the cab is. Seeing stuff like this makes me think I need to learn to weld again....
