I just talked to a guy today that works for the same company that I do and he says he has about 300-400 toyotas he sells for parts. Then he tells me he has 2 wolverines, and half a trekker. He says the trekker does not have the pass through to the back but has the winnebago sticker under the dash.
I am going out to his place on Sunday so I will take some pics and let you guys know what I find.

yep .. I have some info too .. but all 78 or earlier !!
the 79-80 conversions are the ones that seem to be "elusive" the "trekker" conversions are almost non-existant ... But I have seen 1 , and I know they exist .. or did !!!
.. info. on them would be the desirable ones ..

so for those wondering ... Wolverenes were produced from the 78 Hilux years using dana diffs , and spicer transfer ..... 79--83 toyota had there own 4X4 , and a "Trekker like" conversion was done ... the elusive one ... this is the one were looking for! /84 .. they were still converting ... a "4Runner like" conversion ..

I owned a 1980 Wolverine (basically a 4-runner conversion), at least that's what I understand that it is from some reading and this site: www.expeditionportal.com/forum/showthread.php?t=39843&page=2There is a picture of a blue one and a yellow one with decals, mine was yellow much like that one. My uncle still has it too! Sorry I don't have any pictures to post. Let me know what you think, maybe I'll end up getting it back from him! Thanks, Bryon
