Got the passenger side flare done, had to use some two part flexible urethane filler to get the sides of the cut to match as the one flare was made from two PU flares. Wet sanded most of the body so if i can stop finding crap to fix i may paint in a few days.

woa! lets not get crazy! I have a condition that crops up from time to time keeping me from doing things i should. It's called laziness, oh there it is again.

So i go to get an other quart of paint mixed up so i can finish and am told i can't get acrylic enamel any more. No longer legal for sale in Canada. Not not not happy! So while pouting and suffering a tourettes attack i managed to paint a few of the interior pieces. Dropped a few other dash pieces off to have a woodgrain transfer put on them. Took out the factory tach because i want a larger aftermarket one, in it's place i put an AirPath compass. Sits right in the center of the cluster. Did some painting around the gauges (red). Now i just need to find someone who deals in Blackmarket paint.

Ya they turned out really good, i used "Plasti Kote" for vinyl , the paint goes on nice and flows out great. Two to three light coats and it's good to go, dries fast as well. I picked up a couple of cans for fabric as well, haven't tried it yet though. The real test will be the steering wheel and if it lasts on there or wears off quick. Truck is wet sanded and papered up, i will keep cleaning the garage and paint on the week end, i hope.

Turned out a little dusty, but for a off road truck painted in a 19'x24' garage more than acceptable.

Pulled the dash to paint the lower portion and replace the pad with one i dyed/painted. After removing it i decided to repair and paint the original. Used a 3M product i bought to fill the flares, it filled nice and kept the edges of the splits down. A little sanding some more filling and i painted it up. I should have spent more time on it, taking a little more care not to sand a larger area than needed. I sanded off to much of the texture around the repair but it looks way better. So dash is now back in and i think it looks a lot less dated and a little classier. Put the door panels back on as posted before. Not sure if i like the wood-grain pieces on there though or not, may have to do more or remove altogether.
