Hello All,
I realize this is not really a trailblazer forum, but I don't know where else to go for advice.
I recently bought a 1981 Trailblazer that was rotting away in a barn. I'm working on getting it up and running. Its got quite a bit of rust in the bed. My instincts tell me the best bet is to take the top off, replace the bed with one in better shape from a donor truck, and then put the top back on.
Is this the right approach? Has anyone ever tried to reattach a trailblazer top?

welcome aboard .. yes , In my opinion , repairing an original toyota bed is and excersize in futility . finding a rust free bed is your best bet , or depending on you budget , you could also go fiberglass . Never had the roof off of a trailblazer , but I wouls assume it would be much like the trekker .. with screws in the roof , and bolts on the bed rails .. is there interior in yours ? also .. attachements are not set up on this site to work , have a look here toyotatrekker.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=welcome&action=display&thread=66 for posting pics .. .
