Yep, I'm still here too! Ha! I'm creeping up on 4 years with my build but these things just drag on. Life, family, that d**n work thing always seem to get in the way of garage time. Every little bit you get done is one step closer though... Keep plugging away buddy, I'll try and do the same!
As usual i have not done anything on mine, I am loosing my job after 23 years in sept and i was just crushed by a crate at work , cant walk for 6 weeks , in cast for 6 months so life just keeps getting better!
I have decided when funds are better that i am ditching the chev 350 in it. I would really like to find a 3rz and low boost it for around 220 - 250 HP. I want my 4cyl and manual transmission back. I hope this happens sooner than later.
Thanks man, almost had bought a 89 truck with 22re, dual Tcase, 5.29 gears nice 3t5's and rims Detroit locker for 1000 bucks, but ended up being too far away. I would have swapped it all into my trekker and put a low boost turbo on it.
So sorry to hear of the job and getting crushed - yeesh. Still floating around here myself. And still trying to get my own project to a "finished" state. I went to the old guy who did my interior work and found he's no longer in business. Need some door panels made still... Sucks, not sure if he died or what but it's tough to find quality, old-school work. And now I have to find a way to match up material. Oh well, still plugging away. Take care!
I literally sit in my garage and drink beer and just stare at my trekker, wishing for my stocks, crypto to go up and OR win some cash on the lottery. I want my truck done before this stupid f'ing world bans gas vehicles lol
