got a bit of work done on them today ... as finally , searching for a replacement felt chanel , has been successfull .
so from my research , the original felt and woven backing is no longer avaliable , Winnabego's "source" for these windows is now out of business , and have been for many of years . I found a manufacture , whom will custom build NEW complete "factory type" replacement windows , but there $600.00 for the set !!! (these will be offered with the NEW Trekker conversions)
so .. The replacement chanel I found is not actually felt , it's rubber , so I think it will "wick" the water away better .. I'm also trying to source new "rubbers" , instead of the factory felts , I firmly believe this is the issue with the leaking issues .
I also started "polishing" the outer frames ..
cant really see it , but there comming

i'm trying to replace the centersection .. as only 1 of mine are correct/factory the manufacture of the windows is long out of business .. so finding an original is near impossable .. as this is a bad design , and leaks like a "siv" been searching for quite a while , searching a local canopy window manufacture here in the Okanagan , but so far ALL has turned up negative ..
talked to another guy the other day just about some "random" stuff .. and as we we're talking , I noticed his chevy rear cab sliding window .. then had a look at my factory rear slider ..
