I know a guy that will sell me his 81 Trekker SR5. I have photos that I can post later. Has been sitting either in Arizona or Colorado for a number of years. Rust free staight body in good shape with
the exception of a missing chunk of fiberglass at the rear wheel well from tire a blow out. Less than a 100K miles on it. Complete original truck. Canopy headliner is crispy. Engine compartment looks good, but owner claims timing chain has worn a hole in the cover and it obvious there has been some leakage at that site. Have not heard in run yet, but owner says it runs great and tryed to start it recently. Says it fired up right away and then couldn't restart it, thinks it's a fuel problem, old gas etc?Paint is dull and faded white in color, but this truck still looks nice as is. Any sugestions on what is fair price in this economy to pay for something like this truck would be helpful. I know its going to take some work putting it back on the road.
