I forgot you could use this board on tapatalk!! Soo i. Ill make sure to update my build thread. My original plan was not to molest this thing that much.. And as far as body and frame i am not going to. I want to keep the trekker feel to this as much as possible. With that said i cut the axles off and did my fj80/t100 axle conversion. I have added to the tube work.. And a few other things.
I had to cut about two-3 inches of the rear off to build a clean bumper.. It felt wrong but im ok with it..

ah ok .. I'm runnin 35's as well , but for some reason that tire on your cool carrier looks bigger .. Its just because of location and there is no refernce point.. Moved it out under its own power today.. And started measuring for shock bumpage.. Blaaaahhhhhhhh Attachments:

Its funny, my orginal plan was to keep this as stock as possible.. But i love wheeling and moderen parts.. At any rate i want to keep the trekker body uncut as much as possible.. And as of now the fab work is done. Now its all about cleaning up stuff and fine tuning things. I did how ever order propane for it.. And will be running propane injection. I want simple and reliable Attachments:

The only alterations to body i made were a small trim of the rear fiberglass and front fenders. Which i was trying not to do, but was the the only way to create decent looking protective bumpers

My next project is fixing the crappy body mounts, and start patching fiberglass with some west systems product that we use on our boats alot..
