My dream Trekker would be a 83' long box, with a 4bt cummins, NV4500 tranny, atlas t-case, dana 60`s, tires, maybe 37".
I would have the interior done super nice, rear heater, and a sliding rag top down the back of the top, like they do on the custom VW`s. I would move the rear seat all the way back or try to make it ajustable to slide on tracks. So when your wheelin with friends, you can have it forward, so they can see out the front to, but then when your with your woman, you can move it all the way back and have a fold down 25" flat screen TV for movies in the back country. ;D
Now if I kept it all toyota, I would do a 3.4 engine, with the matching tranny, and Marlin Carwler 4.7 Taco box. Axles would be, a high pinion front narrowed FJ80 axle Elocker, rear Tacoma TRD axle, and probably 36"x17" swamper SX`s.
I will add more later as I think of it.
What would your dream Trekker be?

Mine is slowly on its way. If I could I would love to add front and rear diamond axles stuffed with longfields. A V-6 like what Corey is doing would be great. And of course I should have bought a set of at least 35's or 37's (max) instead of 33's... High Pinion E-lockers would be a nice addition. Once I get my dual cases (stock 2.28's) I am going to be done for a while....
