Here's my Trekker. Purchased from another active member here. I didn't even know these things existed until I saw his add in a local online classifieds. I don't have many photos of it before I started tearing it apart, but here ya go: In the seller's driveway. I think this was the pic from the add: After the purchase:

I've been slowly tearing down the back half. Here are a few pics: DOH! And more rust at the back of the cab:
A repair attempt from a previous owner at the driver's rear corner of the tub: And here is the whats left of the piece that is sandwiched between the upper tub fiberglass: Have I bitten off more than I can chew?

I've made a little progress: Rear frame cleaned up: POR15'd and OME springs/shocks: I'm getting the exhaust heat shield patched today. Then it's on to the back cab rust repair. I'm not sure what to do there. I'm not a body guy. I had a body guy look at it and suggest cutting out the rusty areas, then patch using 3m panel bonder instead of welding. He said it would reduce the chances of warping. Any thoughts? Thanks!

looks great so far ..
if you have the tools to make the panels , 3M panel bonder is a GREAT option . I welded mine because you can get in there and re seal the back side , or well , at least I did ... have a peek in my build for the cab repairs I did
