V8 was dropped in way back in the early eighties, not even a handful of V8 mini trucks done back then. The hardest part is finding exhaust and i went through a few styles of stock manifolds before i bought a set of what Advance Adapters call headers. Was not at all pleased with them, actually they were junk! Ended up making the ones on the truck now. The only other hard part was keeping it cool without carving up the grill work. The stock diffs will last if you treat them with a little respect, i didn't, i blew the stock rear to bits in short order dragging Camaros, Mustangs and just about anything else i managed to get beside.

Couldn't leave the PU out so i grabbed a pair of used 63" Chevy leafs from a friend who went to a 4link setup. These should soften up the ride a tad.
