Hey everyone, cool to see the Trekkers getting some love, hopefully this place will continue to grow and the information will continue to build! The names Tommy, I live in Colorado Springs and have what some would call an obsession with Toyota's. I'm 26 years old, but have owned pretty close to that many Toyota Trucks/4runners/FJ40s/Trekkers/Trailblazers and even a few Toyota cars thrown in the mix! Anyhow, I recently bought an 82 Trekker from a local guy who had taken real good care of it over the years, its in excellent shape and has ZERO rust (even the floorboards by the body mounts are solid as can be). Its bone stock right now because I am working on another project for the time being and I'm using the Trekker as my DD. Here is a pic of the way it was the day i bought it, it now has some Tacome aluminum wheels and tires that are a little bit bigger. Someday hopefully soon this one will get the typical makeover like all my others and become a nice DD/weekend wheeler/camping truck, nothing too hardcore as I dont want to destroy it up in the mountains, i have another Toyota for that! *EDIT* I think i got the picture thing figured out...

welcome aboard Tommy , I really hope it continues as well .. I would really like the Trekkers to be "recognized" once again , and maybe even gain some popularity as "collector" maybe one day . is your pic of your Trekker on the internet ? if not , it has to be . so if you dont have an account set up at photobucket ... or something like that .. you wont be able post . you could email it to me cj@toyotafiberglass.com and I will gladly post it for you .
