so with a 4th and final "test fit" Joel now has a custom set of headers . I have about 30 hours building these 1 offs .. but I now think I can comfortably build 5Vzfe headers for swaps (NEW product coming) anyway .. it's off to ceramic coat tomorrow . Heat shield is not welded yet .. will do that after .

buttoning up some mounting issues today Joel brought in his NEW projector headlamps today .. much deeper then the stock lamps , so some sugery needed to be done . passenger side wasnt so bad , just had to do some "mods" to the airbox . move and make a bracket for the A/C relays and build a mount post for the 5V igniter Drivers side was a little more involved .. because of the fuel canister and battery , but we solved it

headers back from ceramic coat I decided to "wrap" the flex pipe . I didnt want any "ratteling" down the road , and welding the cover would hinder the flaxability of the flex joint

I just left Corey's shop. I had the pleasure of being there to hear this beast flash up for the first time. The sound from that engine is very pleasing to the ears.
Corey: How did you shoe horn all that in there?! Your a real artist! ;D
Joel: Your going to be one happy boy, Please dont hydro-loc this one....

so now with it running , it's time to start to mount things perminantly . With NO room behind the glove box , or the dash for that matter , I opted under the passenger seat . Wanting to make it all very easy to remove if necessary , I added plugs now mounted on a SS plate , it is all removable If Joel needs to for any reason

Joels back ... tranny problems , diagnosed as sencros. Joel is planning a long Alaska trip this year , so he want his runner in "tip top " shape .. so , we ordered a marlin tranny . Joel wanted to keep it looking nice , he's saving up for duel transfers , and also 3 link front an rear ? (not positive just yet) as well as full custom hi clearance body . Joel decided he wanted the the cast part of the case blue , so we complied with his wishes .. we are also up dating some of the engine colors for him .. he wanted a "wrinkle" coat powder on the valve covers .. so all torn down , cleaned , sandblasted , back together and now ready for some powder
